Should I read it because the book is very long or just watch the movie? Also would it be a bad idea to watch Harry Potter and the Death Hallows Part 2 when it comes out before watching part 1?Should I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book first before I watch the movie?
Firstly i will strongly recommend u to read the book first. I am actually drawn towards the movies by the books They usually left out a lot of details in the movies and without reading the book beforehand u may find it confusing. The book may be very long but u will find yourself unable to stop reading it once u start.
But it will definitely be a bad idea to watch part 2 before part 1. They are in sequence! If u haven't read the book beforehand and directly skipping part 1 to watch part 2, I can't guarantee that you can fully enjoy it, or to understand it.
Definitely. I went to watch part 1 in the theaters when it came out and I didn't understand half of what was going on even though I've seen all of the previous films and know them by heart so I went home, ordered the whole book series, and understood everything. The books (especially the 7th one) explain so much important information that for some reason they left out in the film.Should I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book first before I watch the movie?
Well the books are obviously better, but if you haven't read ANY HP books, then you should really read all 7 of them instead of just one.
Yes, it is a very bad idea to watch Deathly Hallows part 2 before part 1, because it is a continuing storyline. It won't make any sense.
READ THE BOOK FIRST! My sister and I went to see the movie and i had read the book and she hadn't and she was soooo confused and kept asking me all these questions! Trust me, you will not understand the movie if you don't read the book first.Should I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book first before I watch the movie?
Read book first! You will understand the movie better. Plus the book is about 10 times better than the movie....
YES! It's much better and you will understand the movie better. There were some parts where my friends who hadn't read the book had to ask me what was going on.
