They Are Transfigured Statues That Are Bewitched, Called The Suits Of Armour, They Fought During The Battle Of Hogwarts, After Being Animated By Professor Minerva McGonagall ? %26lt;:)"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2" Trailer 1?
I'd say they're something the director threw in to add to the battle. If I had to guess then I'd probably say they're Voldemort's creation or at least his Allies.
The final movie looks phenomenal though. I cannot wait!
