Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Pt1 Movie Questions?

Hi ALL

**SPOILER ALERT***

If you HAVENT seen harry potter's latest movie (the deathly hallow's part 1) then dont read any further and mess the movie up for yourself, as there will be spoilers in my questions. The movie was good and is worth watching, then by all means return to my question...it'll be here for a week till 18th Dec 2010....otherwise answer away..thanks

**Spoiler Alert***

Qu 1: At the beginning, voldermort wanted a wand, why were everyone stressed about him taking theirs? especially malfoys dad?

Qu2: Did Harry actually have a birthday making him un-traceable?

Qu3: Why was the sword they were after in the lake?

Qu4: How was it that they teleported to the exact lake where the sword was?

Qu5: When harry was being escorted in hargred's motorcycle, voldermort turns up and they have a wand battle...

a) voldermort had malfoys dad's wand yet he lost why?

b) harry was in a drugged/dazed state yet his wand fired how?

6) why would they put the powerful elder-wood wand in the grave with dumbledore, surely other wizards had died before him so why in his grave at this time?

7) where is dumbledoors wand?

It would make sense to read the book as the movie will cut out details and leave some confused...

Q1: as said before, any wizard without his wand at this stage would be a dead man. It is a war.

Q2: All witches and wizards have a trace until they turn 17 due to the use of underage magic.

Q3: As said above, someone puts it there, and is the Doe.

Q4: It was meant to be... As said again above, you will find out who in the next part.

Q5: a) Theres a lot about harry and voldemorts connection that gets revealed in the final part.

b) Again, same as answer a).

6: Dumbledore is the latest owner of the elder wand. he had it for a long time, no one had killed him to claim it, and because snape killed him, he chose not to claim it, because of a massive spoiler!!

7: Dumbledore's wand is the elder wand, has been since getting it from Grindleward. No one knows what wand he had when he was a child if thats what you mean. But he has had the elder wand for years. its the wand you've seen him use in every film so far.Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Pt1 Movie Questions?
you will see if you read the book or just wait until the second part comes outHarry Potter Deathly Hallows Pt1 Movie Questions?
1. I would guess because if they gave up their wand they would be left defenseless, and this is a war. It's like a soldier giving up their only weapon.
2. The trace broke when he turned 17.
3. SPOILER ALERT!!! Someone put it there. That someone also conjured the doe patronus that led Harry to it. You'll find out who in Part 2.
4. They didn't, the person who had the sword put it in the lake for them after they got there.
5. a) Because remember how Voldemort said in the beginning, Our wands are like twins. Voldemort's wand is very powerful because Voldemort is powerful. If Harry's wand is a twin of Voldemort's wand then Harry's wand is also powerful. Malfoy can't compare to Voldemort and his wand is weak. So when Voldemort attacked Harry it was kinda like Malfoy battling Voldemort. You'll learn more about wand ownership and transfer of ownership in Part 2.
b) His wand fired on its own because Malfoy's wand was too weak to possibly beat Harry's wand.
6. SPOILER ALERT!!! Dumbledore thought the wand would be safe there. Again, it has to do with transfer of ownership. BTW Dumbledore owned the Elder Wand, in case that wasn't clear to you. They just put his own wand in his grave. Sorta. There are specific things Voldemort, or anyone else, has to do in order to gain ownership of the wand. Its location doesn't really matter.
7. You mean Dumbledore's original wand? Not sure but it doesn't really matter, the important thing is that he used to be the owner of the Elder Wand, then something happened and now that he's dead, someone else is the owner.

For more details, read the books.
