Depressed that Harry Potter is over. What- do I do?

I'm so sad that harry potter is over! I know it isn't REALLY over. But the fact that there will be no more Harry Potter books or movies is just so depressing. I think I've entered the magical world. I can't pay attention to anything anymore and I feel disoriented. When I was reading the series, I would stay up so late reading the books and my heart would skip a beat when I looked at my books, excited that there is still some adventure left. But now all that is kind of gone. I had countless fangirl moments, especially while watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (Ron and Hermione playing the piano together, and Harry and Hermione dancing together in the tent). I'm so attached to the characters and I want to go to Hogwarts so bad. Now, I don't want to read any other book ever again because every other book seems pathetic compared to Harry Potter. There's this song that I always listen to when I read Harry Potter now. It was the song that Harry and Hermione danced to in Deathly Hallows Part 1.

I want to get over being sad about Harry Potter ending but I also don't want to. I feel like if I get over my HP depression, I won't be as close to Harry Potter. But I'm so disoriented and it's driving me mad. What do I do??????

Apologizes for my patheticness...Depressed that Harry Potter is over. What- do I do?
I know how you feel (trust me, I do)...Just try reading other book series, it helps.
There have been _seven books_ and _eight movies_, released over a period of 15 years.

Do what you've already been doing with the other 99.9% of your life.Depressed that Harry Potter is over. What- do I do?
Obliviate!

*humms the theme while walking off*
make your own harry potter books :DDepressed that Harry Potter is over. What- do I do?
Read other books...Like Percy Jackson!
Try to get into some other books.

(GO HUNGER GAMES!- The movies are about to come!)
Game of Thrones. Watch it, and read the books that are the source material
I know, it is sad!

Try a new series.

Go to Barnes and Noble and look for the:

Evermore series!

It is amazing and is about Immortals.

They have this world of their own.

You'll never put it down.

In order the books are:

Evermore

Blue Moon

I used to feel just the same but I got over it. There are too many things I have to do so I don't even have the time to be depressed lol. Find something to fill the void. I recommend reading Game of Thrones or writing your own Harry Potter fan-fiction. Or better yet you can make your own series if you're into writing. Also don't pay attention to those trolls they don't even know what they're saying.

Hope I helped!!!
I feel like it's the same when your pet dies. Take time to mourn, but it will eventually be better for you if you go out and get another pet. So find another book series to love! There are more books out there than anyone can imagine, and there are soo many that you will end up loving.

Off the top of my head here are some of my favorite book series:

Kissed by an Angel - Elizabeth Chandler

Hush,Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick

Strange Angels - Lili. St. Crow

Touching Spirit Bear- Ben Mikaelsen

Maximum Ride - James Patterson

Circle of Magic, Immortals series, Song of the Lioness - Tamora Pierce (basically any of her books, I think you will like them because they deal with magic too :)
To be honest I have felt the same way. I still do. You are a person that is in love with the series. Don't worry so am I. I actually had a discussion with my boyfriend because I told him that that series actually gave us life. He said that I was crazy. What can I say?
Anyways. To answer you question. If you love to read, don't stop. It might be hard at first but you can't stop your love for reading. Sometimes I reread them again and again. You will never part with it because HP is in your heart, no matter what. When you have enough money, go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando. Like Ron said: "It's not much, but it's home." And Harry's answer: "It's brilliant"
I haven't been there yet but I've been told that it's wonderful.
I am a Potter fan and proud of it. It will always be my favorite series. I have read dozens of books, but Harry Potter is my life. Like JK Rowling said: "No story lives unless someone wants to listen... The stories we love best do live in us forever. So whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

I hope I helped, and sorry for being so dramatic. Those are my feelings.

I love these books:
House of Night series by PC and Kristen Cast
Eyes like stars series by Lisa Mantchev
Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr is cool. It's about fairies.
The Summoning series by Kelly Armstrong.
Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. Might be for children but it's cool.
Holes by Louis Sachar
Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen is about flappers in 1929
Pendragon series by DJ MacHale
The Immortals (about a girl who meets an immortal) series by Alyson Noel
The witches by Roald Dahl; it's a children's book but it's nice. He also wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG, and many more.
Ella Enchanted by Gail Garson Levine and also Fairest.
The Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis. It's a classic
Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke
The House of Night has a novella about Dragon called Dragon's Oath. Very cool.
