I had a sudden urge to watch HP7 Part 1, so I decided to rent it online (as in watch it instantly). Youtube doesn't have it in their movies section. iTunes doesn't, either, and Amazon says "Due to our licensing agreements this video is currently not available for purchase or rental. Why is this? All sites have movies 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Anyone know anything about this?Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 Missing?
I don't know, but if it tells you it doesn't have the licensing on one website, it's probable that the others are the same way. It's likely the company is trying to get people to buy the 7th movie, therefore not letting rental companies and certain online stores carry the movie. When certain companies like Amazon have the movie available for purchase, a good majority of the profits go to Amazon. They may not have made as much money off this movie than the other ones and are trying to make more off of it buy selling it elsewhere. Try either borrowing it from a friend or buying the movie from the store.
