** Did you grow up with the Harry Potter series too? 鈽?*?

Hello, thank you for opening this question.

I want to talk about you and me. Well, let's get to it.



So basically, I've grown up watching, playing, reading the Harry Potter Saga and it was wonderful. When I first moved to Canada, it was the first movie I watched and I loved it. In fact, when I was little - I seriously thought that Hogwarts was real and I was going to get my acceptance letter - but I didn't and that day I cried A LOT.

Did you believe that there was Hogwarts too?

I had been a "Potterholic" from Grade 1-6" and that was the time when the fifth movie came late (at Grade 6) Then I had been forgetting about it. I now regret that. Harry Potter was like my old teddy bear toy, I couldn't just leave it in the corner of my room, alone, you know? :P [Like Toy Story]

So, I wanted to get involved into it again.... But now, to this very moment, the clock is ticking 'till the last part of the Deathly Hallows. And I have this very, very strange feeling. I feel proud to have done everything possible of the Harry Potter Series. But, I also feel depressed and empty since now it's ending and I can't look forward to any other Harry Potter movies... I've spent most of my childhood watching the Harry Potter series (more time then Daniel Radcliffe acting in the movies, probably) and now it feels like it's just fading away. :( And I guess that's all there to say. I want to know if YOU are feeling this way, too. What do you think of the great HP Series ending?

I did grow up with Harry Potter, I liked it though I'm not as passionate as you are.



I read a lot of books,manga,manwha, it always feels a little sad when a good series you enjoy ends.



I personally read the books, I stopped watching the movies around the 5th one, in my opinion the books are a lot better. Most books to movies get butchered in my opinion, the ending is a sweet one you'll enjoy I'm happy to tell you (or at least the one in the books). There's not a lot you can do when a series end but move on. You can always revisit as much as you like though.** Did you grow up with the Harry Potter series too? 鈽?*?
Same here. I grew up watching the movies and then I got into the books. I'm not a big HP fan, but I'm still a loyal one.



Yeah, I'm feeling a bit down that HP is gonna end soon. There's nothing much to look forward to. :(



And I think Harry Potter is the best book ever written and all the movies are super awesome.
