Could you change from being gay to straight or straight to gay in one night?

My friends are having a big argument over this, one says no way it can happen and that it takes more time then a single night and the other says depending on the person, so it could. I think it really depends on the person and what happens that night, like it could be love at first sight or maybe they have a split personality and one of them is gay and the other straight (you never know). Anyways they're having this big argument at school and half my friends are with one and the other half is with the other one. So I just want to get this argument over with and move on with life but neither of them want to except each others ideas. We still all talk and get along but as soon as this comes up it's half and half yelling and disagreeing with each other. Everyone around us either picks a side, states their opinion about it (normally getting yelled at by the opposing side that it's none of there business yatta, yatta, yatta you get the idea) or laughing about how ridiculous we all are getting into this argument in the first place. Anyway long story short (too late) I thought I'd see how people that don't know us think about this. I believe it is something you are born with and kind of grow into. YOu might not realize it as a young kid, but after being around long enough, you might start to realize your preference, say as a teenager.

You can have sex with the opposite sex or the same sex in one night but this doesn't change what goes on in your mind or what makes you happy. For some people this is exploring, for others it's just playing around and yet for others it is called being very drunk and horny. You can meet somebody and not care what gender they are, just realize you love them for who they are and go with it with your body, mind and soul....

Try forever, you can' t change it. Only, decide if you want to indulge in it.
Um, it's all impossible. A person could REALIZE his/her true orientation in one night, but the orientation doesn't change.Could you change from being gay to straight or straight to gay in one night?
