Exclude Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2...
Here's my list:
1. Prisoner of Azkaban- The direction by Alfonso Cuaron was magnificent. Cinematography, also quite brilliant... I love the little details. Like, how he showed the seasons changing, and the whomping willow shaking the trees. :) I LOVED the score by John Williams. He showed have received an award from the Academy for that... Ah, Harry Potter always seems to get ripped at the Oscars, though. :( Oh, and Prisoner of Azkaban just felt like such a history making movie. Do you know what I mean? The feeling you had when Harry was going to perform the patronus on the dementors, with the music erupting, just send chills down my spine every time.
2. Goblet of Fire- Again, brilliant direction... Mike Newell somehow managed to make the movie look completely different than Prisoner of Azkaban, while still maintaining continuity. I loved how this movie felt like a big event. I always cry when Cedric dies. :( The scene with Harry and Voldemort is epic.
3. Half Blood Prince- Although, I wish Yates didn't dwell on the romance as much, it was still a fine direction, maintaining a bit of balance. I loved the emotion of the actors in this one... I know people were mad that not everybody was crying when Dumbledore died, but they have to realize, when someone sees death, they're in a bit of shock first. I loved how everyone just seemed numb, when seeing Dumbledore's body laying there... I know some people didn't like the cave scene, but I enjoyed it, even though it was a little different than the book. It shows Dumbledore at a weak moment. I love when Dumbledore parts the water.
4. Chamber of Secrets- I believe this was the longest movie of them all, but it sure goes by quick. :) The scene with the basilisk is really awesome. I love the character in this movie. Everyone seems so innocent and trying to have fun, while still going through all that was happening. I think Chris Columbus had better direction on this one.
5. Sorcerer's Stone- There is no way Sorcerer's Stone could rank below Order of the Phoenix, no way in heck... Yes, Sorcerer's Stone was a bit cheesy at times, but it is always still lovely to watch. Chris Columbus' direction is definitely not my favorite, but I still appreciate the way he started off the franchise. If it landed into the hands of someone else, we may have not had any more movies!
6. Order of the Phoenix- I honestly think David Yates' direction on that was so poorly done. I'm sure a lot of Harry Potter fans agree with me. Like, who is crazy enough to make the LONGEST of the books into the SHORTEST of the movies? He didn't put Ron's quidditch stuff rightly into Order of the Phoenix, so they had to waste time in Half Blood Prince to cover it... Lighting was way too dark. He showed way too much of boring Umbridge... The movie just seemed boring... Nothing like the book... Blah. I'm just happy his directing has improved a lot in just one movie. I hope Deathly Hallows is brilliant! :) Oh, and the only thing that I really liked in Order of the Phoenix was the scene between Snape and Harry, where he was invading his mind, which wasn't that long, sadly...How would you rate the Harry Potter movies, so far?
i love all of them and think there all great but i was disappointed how much they didnt show i half-blood prince. it was still good though.
3. Prisoner of Azkaban
4. Goblet of Fire
2. Half Blood Prince
5. Chamber of Secrets
6. Sorcerer's Stone
1.Order of the PhoenixHow would you rate the Harry Potter movies, so far?
Sorcerer's Stone
Prisoner of Azkaban
Goblet of Fire
Chamber of Secrets
Order of the Phoenix
Half Blood Prince
Yes Order of the Phoenix was to short. but if it was someone who didnt read the books than i would like it.
I agree with you on the others.
CANT WAIT TILL PART 1How would you rate the Harry Potter movies, so far?
everyone except for the last one has been amazing!!! the last one was not true to the book:( it was depressing
I'D RATE THEM TEN OUT OF TEN
......but then again I'm a fanatic of twelve years and may be a bit bias, ha.:)
They're all really great....MOVIES, that is. They're not the books, never will be. They're movies, and brilliant ones at that. The best interpretation of the book into a movie, in my opinion, though? Half Blood Prince. Yeah, not exactly at all like the book, but it had that authentic Harry Potter magic that was missing in Order of the Phoenix...it made me fall in love with the series once more. Order of the Phoenix, I agree with you, was the poorest one...it just didn't *feel* right, but the characters were as brill as ever. :)
1. Goblet of Fire- I can watch it over and over. For me its just amazing. I liked how it had different schools and like u said, it was a big event.
2. Chamber of Secrets- They all are so adorable and little in this movie. :) And it was my favorite book.
3. Half-Blood Prince- I really like how in the movie we really get to see Draco has a good heart somewhere :) Though the end depresses me every single time..
4. Prisoner of Azkaban- The werewolf used to scare me like crazy when I first saw it, but I love Buckbeak :D
5. Socerers Stone- I watch this movie every single Christmas.I like the feel of it, even tho I agree it is cheesy at parts. I was 6 when I saw this movie in theaters, and seeing Voldemort on the back of Quirrels head then Quirrel falling apart was terrifying to me haha
6. Order of the Phoenix- I agree completely with you on this. Wayy too short, and it missed so much. I was really underwhelmed with it.
I can't wait to see the 7th this Friday... hopefully all my expectations will be met :)
well i'm a major harry potter nut cauz i've read the series 4 times in a row and watched the movies 50 times each so here's my list:

2. chamber of secrets - this also stuck to the book the script, acting and directing were great i would give it a 4/5.
3. prisoner of Azkaban - the story line doesn't exactly stick to the book but it does in a way 4/5.
4. goblet of fire - could watch it every day sticks exactly to the book.5/5.
5.Order of the phoenix - this on was terrible it didn't stick to the book at all 1/5.
