If you've never seen any of the Harry Potter films, will I enjoy the Deathly Hallows Part II?

I lied, I've seen the 1st 2, but I've forgotten most of it, to be honest. I know the main characters - the protagonists and the antagonists - and thats about it.

My question rather is this: is it a one off where its a movie for EVERYONE, or is it a huge pay off for those who went to see all of the other movies? I've heard its gotten fantastic ratings, and I do love me a good movie.

So back to the question: Is it a movie where I can just watch it and enjoy it having not seen much - maybe like Pirates of the Caribbean, or is much knowledge needed to be known in order to really get the best enjoyment out of it? (I don't want to go in an be like 'What the....?' lol)If you've never seen any of the Harry Potter films, will I enjoy the Deathly Hallows Part II?
Honestly, probably not. The books are very long and they they explain the story very well. The movies often skip huge details which supplement the plot and develop the characters. And they are also limited to about 2 hours, which is not nearly enough time to convey all the details. Because of this, the movies rely a lot on the prior knowledge of the audience to fill in the gaps.
Well if you haven't seen part 1 then you will probably be confused. Id go with Pirates of the Caribbean 4. I saw it and it's an incredible movie. Better than harry potter in my opinion. What makes it even better is that Will and Elizabeth aren't in it so you don't have to put up with their selfishness any longer. If you've never seen any of the Harry Potter films, will I enjoy the Deathly Hallows Part II?
Before you watch the deathly hallows part 2 i suggest you should watch deathly hallows part1. then you will get a much better understanding of it.but i dont think you will have to watch the whole series to get a better understanding. just watch the 1st part of the deatly hallows first. i hope that helps!
You will be confused.

BUT-it IS a movie for everyone- very intense with lots of action/epicness.

besides its not really that hard to follow along if you pay attention from the startIf you've never seen any of the Harry Potter films, will I enjoy the Deathly Hallows Part II?
no
Erm, well you've missed out a lot of important deaths you know, I don't want to spoil it for you, also I think you'll be quite shocked to see what actually happens in the last part of the movie, however if you've read the books it doesn't matter. If you haven't, you will seriously go ''What the ****?'' in this movie because you probably won't understand much.

But it's a good movie, so I'd just watch it anyway.

(Well, from what I've heard I'm seeing it tomorrow or Sunday)
