Should I read Harry Potter?

I'm 20, I use to watch the movies when I was a kid but than stop after the fourth one. I just saw the J.K. Rowling bio-drama on lifetime and now I want to watch all the Harry Potter Movies again from the first to Deathly Hallows pt. 1 Than after that, watch part 2 in theaters before it gets taken off. I have Potter Fever right now but I want to know should I read the whole series. I tried reading The Philosopher's Stone when I was in elementary but stopped, than again when I was 17 but only read one chapter. I was busy with school. Now I have all this time and I have Potter Fever right now, after I watch all the movies, should I read the books?Should I read Harry Potter?
I know what you mean. The first few books are a little hard to get through at first, but once you do you can't get enough. The book also covers important details and plot lines the movies just graze over. Also you will be in the ever special "I read the book club" (LOL) .One thing you could do is listen to the books. You can always find links to buy them for the cheap but an even better source is to go to your local library and check them out.
Read the books before the movies, but YES!!! You should definitely read the books. I started reading them in second grade around 2003, and I've reread the series every year since. The writing is exciting and descriptive, but not overly descriptive like a certain vampire series that will not be named, and Ms. Rowling really focuses on character development so you really care about the characters. It's a little slow at first, but after Hagrid visits Harry for the first time, that's when it starts getting good. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a good book to read.Should I read Harry Potter?
Yes, go back and start to read again, however instead of relying on the movies like so many of people use your mind to interpret your story. Don't let the media describe what you see and feel. That is the power of the written world.
I think so. I only read the first one and only seen the first movie but they were both good. The only problem with the movies is that they miss some scenes from the book. But the book seems more confusing at some parts. Its kinda hard to pick a straight up answer. But yes u should!!(:Should I read Harry Potter?
