Should I watch the final Harry Potter before I read the second half of the book?

I have set myself the challenge of reading all the Harry Potter books before the 15th of July (which is when deathly hallows part 2 comes out). So currently I've nearly finished the first one :P lol, but when I get to the last book, should I read the whole of it first and the go to the movies and sit criticising the movie because it's different to the film, or should I read the first half of Deathly Hallows (up until Dobby dies) and then see the movie, and then read the last half of the book?



I have already seen HP and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. And I have never read the books before.Should I watch the final Harry Potter before I read the second half of the book?
I personally think its best if you watch the movie then read the other half of the book, then you can easily imagine the events and recall them from the film!

I am doing the same thing, i did the same for the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and I truly enjoyed it. I recommend you to decide for yourself, but nonetheless I would say that watch the film and then read the other half of the book.

I think they are doing a good job of staying true to the final book. So you can read the final book and enjoy the final movie too.Should I watch the final Harry Potter before I read the second half of the book?
you should read the book 1st so that you get pissed when you see how much they changed in the movie lol
