.goblet of fire
.order of the phoenix
.half-blood prince
.deathly hallows
i want to read them i am aged 10 at the moment am i too young?
i am mature and am a level 5 reader (that is the top level) i have also watched the movies including deathly hallows part 1
do you think i should read the first 3 right now? What age should you start to read harry potter books 4-7?
If you haven't read the first three, then don't even TRY to read the next four.
Trust me, the movies are nothing like the books because they're 'accessible to everyone' whereas the books are something hard to follow if you're not really one who tends to read longer, mature books.
There really is no age where you should or shouldn't be able to read Harry Potter (except something ridiculous like four) so I'd say go for it, with a few warning:
You MUST read them ALL in ORDER.
You may not understand a lot of the stuff in the sixth and seventh books. You may think you're mature but some of it is for older teenagers to adults.
yes, i think you're definitely old enough... i finished the fourth book in third grade and i read the next ones as soon as they came out. I believe I was ten when the fifth one came out. As long as you understand the books, I see no reason why you can't read them. Of course, provided that they are appropriate. What age should you start to read harry potter books 4-7?
You need to start from the beginning, you have no idea how much they have to cut out for the films, and if you start halfway through the series you won't get half of it. You're not too young to read the Harry Potter books at all.
The books are more complex and you have to follow the story line closely. If you think you're ready go for it! But like everyone else has said, you've got to read them in order, 1-7.What age should you start to read harry potter books 4-7?
I would recommend you read Narnia books and ones written by J. R. R. Tolkien, I did as a child and still feel they were much better than Harry Potter.
Yes, read them! You don't have to limit yourself with these imaginative books. Read them in order, though, it makes more sense.
Yes but dont get to into it to much just read it and it doesn have anything bad in it go on read and enjoy or ask your parents :)
I read them at the age of 7 or 8, and thn just kept reading them as they came out, so I'm sure you'll be fine. :)
Yes as soon as you feel ready.
